LARPer Problem #25 No ride to the event.
This used to be such a problem, but now I have a car (possibly 50% of the reason I got a car was for larp.)

learning-to-listen-deactivated2 asked: Another answer for uglylovelyugly: If she's anywhere near the NJ area, LAIRE (who also plays at Camp Sac - hello fellow LARPer at Camp Sac!) allows players as young as 14 to play. Younger players are allowed, but they have to be non-com and they must have an out-of-game parent or guardian with them at all times.

There are definitely theater-style LARPs that are all-ages, that can scratch that live roleplaying itch without the commitment of a full weekend (one-shots often run about 4 hrs). Theater-style LARP simulates combat with mechanics like playing cards,...

aberrant-albert asked: Is it acceptable for someone under fifteen years old to LARP? I'm 14, and I've been curious about the hobby. I don't know if it would be okay for me to actually do it, though, since I might be too young.

Public service announcement:
People have been sending me messages through tumblr’s “fanmail” which is awesome, but if you want it posted to the blog I have no idea how to do that aside from screencapping it. So if you send me a “fanmail” I will read it and most likely respond, but will not post it. If you send me an “ask” I will most probably post it.
ALSO YOU GUYS FUCKYEAHLARP HAS...
